Hey,
I am wondering if it will hold me back at all or come to haunt me in my future if I want to go to medical school and become a surgeon, but I get an undergrad in economics? The reason for this is simply in case I change my mind I could do business or go to law school.
Thanks in advance!
For med school and law school, it doesn’t really matter what you major in as long as you do well in the required classes(I don’t think law school has any class reqs but I know med school does).
There are people that hop from like a philosophy major to med school (albeit somewhat rarely). As long as you get the prereqs done (and any other things you might need to apply).
