which school would be better for taking the pre-med requirements at. James Madison University, or Virginia Tech? Why? I know VTech is DO, but i do not know much about it. I am relatively new to the process, and I would like to become a future practitioner later on in life. Please help me!

I get the feeling that you are really new to the process, so (without you getting offended) can you tell me what you do know about the process of getting into medical school?

I just dont' want to waste my time going over stuff that you know, simply b/c I can't judge what you know or don't from your post...

I know that you must attend any undergraduate school, obtain a high gpa, around 3.5 ish, take the premed requirement courses, take the mcats in your junior year. Im guessing that you should really pick the college that you enjoy, so that way, you can be involved and be interested. Other that that.. i really dont know much.. besides the basics. I guess what i really want to know is which school has the best shot in getting me into med school.. concerning which school as more knowledgeable science teachers that may prepare me well, or which school has opportunites the other doesnt, or etc.
