undergraduate business major

recently i have read a lot about the undergraduate business programs that colleges have to offer since i am interested in becoming a business major. i am slightly confused though because i do not really want to go into the field of business per say, but instead want to go to law school. i am sure a lot of you have already read my threads, but just incase you have not i intend on becoming an entertainment lawyer, so a lot of the reason why i would choose a school would be because of the opportunities in this field in terms of gaining experience to add to my resume for when i am looking for a job in the future. with that said, i have been looking into the southern cal schools and the new york schools, especially nyu stern. i realized that most of these business schools tend to focus on specific aspects of business, for example stern focuses on finance...well, no schools focus on entertainment business, so i figure i'm out of lucky anyway...considering that i do not want any specific category of business that is available at this time, but instead want to learn about the entertainment industry through location and business in general through school, should i just go to one of the top business schools regardless of whether they focus on a certain type of business aspect or not? how should i make this decision based on my intended career path?

Go to a school with a good drama and film making department. Perhaps you will meet future clients.

so really, NYU, regardless of the fact that they focus on finance majors the most, is a great option for entertainment especially becauset they have an entertainment, media, technology major at stern?

there is no plain Business Administration major at stern?

If you want law school, then an undergrad in business is not necessarily the best route. A good liberal arts degree may be the best preparation for law school because it is less pragmatically focused and more geared towards development of sophisticated analytical skills.
