Undergraduate Business Schools

I am currently debating between UCLA and UCI. I am well aware that UCLA is a top ranked school and has an amazing graduate program but how is their undergraduate program for business majors? UCLA doesn't have an actual business major like UCI. If I chose UCLA I will be enrolled as a pre- business economics major. I'm worried that this major will place too much emphasis on economics rather than management, etc. It will probably ease the transition into the Anderson School of Management if I'm already enrolled at UCLA but is it worth going there for undergraduate?

Is anyone actually enrolled in UCLA or UCI as a business major or know someone who is? I need help with making a decision…this is so stressing =_=''

anybody?………

Business is a lot about prestige. From what I’ve heard from friends that applied this year, it doesn’t matter if a college doesn’t have a strictly business or finance major. What matters is the name. So you’ll see Harvard economics graduates all over Wall Street, Stanford economics graduates all over Wall Street, blah blah blah econ majors in management positions. Most of the Ivy leagues don’t even have a “business” department and have better placement than schools that do have business-centered curriculum (unless you’re talking about Wharton, of course).

tl;dr: go to UCLA.

Thanx a lot Suchwowmuchcool :)
