undergraduate econ compared to Vanderbilt

Does anyone have any insight into this? I'm currently a Tufts student, and I've been accepted at Vanderbilt, and I'm considering going. I'd be looking to get into finance after college, and from the other threads I've read about Vanderbilt econ its not exceptional, although it is the most popular major there. Any information would be great and appreciated.

Why do you want to leave? Or are you a prefrosh who was just accepted off the waitlist?

no I’m a student. I don’t want to go into the details, but its because of family issues. But I’m wondering what the reputation is if I have the choice to go or stay

^Really? on the transfer forum you list very different reasons. Given all the different schools you say you’ve applied to I doubt it’s family reasons. But if you don’t like Tufts because there are too many wealthy kids from too few states, I think you’ll have the same issue at Vanderbilt.

Why don’t you get involved in Tufts Financial Group? The undergraduate investment club. They have been sending kids to wall street like no other.

Yeah those provided initial thoughts and reasons on transferring but Tufts has grown on me a lot. Now its become a question of finding a school that I’ll be able to stay at for the next three years and not having to endure this process again
