I'm a senior applying to top schools, and I spend the past summer doing a research project as part of a university medical research team. However, since it's clinical research involving multiple subjects, it's not done yet and I probably won't be finished or published by the time apps are due. Will that reduce the chances of my research being seen as a notable activity? Or will I receive the same consideration as a student that finished his/her research and got his/her name on a paper in a journal?

Good question - I’m gonna bump this thread
