Unfortuently, I suck at the Reading/English part of the ACT

I want to do better on the ACT's especially the Reading/English sections. Do you have any tips for me? Or any tips overall?

look through a few pages of this forum, you’ll find a lot.

if you’re scoring in or around the 30s then just keep doing practice tests. other wise buy books specifically about english grammar, regardless if its not for ACT. Maybe look at some AP English Composition books for help with reading

In my own experience, the best way is to simply get familiar with proper English language.
Read every now and then, socialize in English, etc. And, please, do not use forums as practical reference since people are a bit careless about grammar and spelling.

I am an international student and have, by my own means, grown used to the English language. I got 35 in the English section because instead of seeing a mistake and looking for the answer, it just came up as obvious while I read and finished quick. It was my best section, being a foreigner and all =P

That’s pretty much all I can suggest about the language sections. Besides that, it’s just a matter of taking practice tests to adopt a fast pace since the ACT requires quick thinking.
