Uni courses in high school

I'm in grade 10 right now, taking grade 11 math. In grade 12, I'm not going to have a math class so I'm thinking of taking a math course at the local uni. I just wanted to know if any of you guys have done something similar, & if the colleges you apply to appreciate that initiative. It's not frowned upon, is it? Thanks! I'd really appreciate any info.

Oh & I also just wanted to ask… if you do badly in a uni course that you’re taking while you’re still in high school, do you have to send the marks for uni applications or can you just pretend you never took the course? LOL. :P

Don’t you have AP courses?

I’m in 10th & taking math at college. My HS has no APs & it’s too easy. For 11th & 12th the only choice I have is more college classes. It takes away a “normal” HS experience, but you need to do what works, I guess.

@porkperson: We do have AP but I’ll be done with AP Calc next year & that’s the highest level offered.

@mmprl1997: Do you have to miss any regular hours in order to do that?
