<p>After a 4.5 hour drive back to San Diego Friday from USC I decided Amtrak might be a very good option. I plan on going to all football home games and would appreciate any advice on the best options to the stadium/campus from union station. Also, can I bring water/sandwich into the stadium? Thanks for any help...fight on</p>

<li>Take amtrak to union station</li>
<li>Get on Red line heading towards 7th st metro center/north hollywood.</li>
<li>Get off of Red line at 7th St Metro Center</li>
<li>Go up one level to platform 2 and catch Expo line heading towards Culver City</li>
<li>Get off at USC Expo Park station (this is the 2nd usc stop), walk south onto expo park for the game, walk north instead if you are there to tailgate and want to go onto campus.</li>

<p>They will make you dump the water before going in. I’m not sure on the sandwich but my guess is no also. Usually one of the foodtrucks inside sells cheaper waters than everyone else but it will sell out if it is a really hot day so buy a bunch in the beginning from them.</p>
