- Very specifically, do Unit 03 and Foothill have practice rooms with good pianos =)

i'd say stay away from foothill; it's more of a benefit for engineering majors as it is in very close proximity to all of the engineering buildings
U3 is close to a lot of food, moreso than U1, but in reality the distance to food is negligible between those two units. as for mcb major, i'd imagine most of your classes to be in the chem area and also VLSB, which is a little closer to U3. i'd say unit 1 is better though just because it's newer/nicer.</p></li>

<p>high likelihood of triples in units (1,3), less so @ foothill. you don't get to choose your dorm, anyways...(unless you're regents)</p></li>

i'd say unit 3 is probably a more active social scene than unit 1, though they are comparable. both >> foothill</p></li>

unit 1 is newer than unit 3 in terms of facilities - computers underground, wireless on the odd floors, laundry/dryers on even floors (this is for unit 1).</p></li>

not sure about unit 3, but unit 1 has underground music rooms with a piano in them. not sure about foothill.</p></li>

<p>Does Unit 03 have wireless internet, computers underground, laundry/dryers and all that? And does the age show (significantly)?</p>
<p>The reason I'm considering Unit 03 is because of its proximity to Cafe 3. Is it a hassle/is it weird to walk from Unit 01 to Cafe 3 for food?</p>
<p>Comparing the high-rises, the three units felt the same in general.</p>
<p>The main thing I noticed was that Unit 3 was slightly larger than Unit 1 and Unit 2, and the ceilings don't appear cracked. However, that's about it.</p>
