Hey everyone!
I've been accepted to UC Berkeley for EECS! :D

Since I am an international student I won't be able to visit Cal to narrow down on housing options. The living at cal site is not very lucid.
I'm extremely confused and the deadline keeps getting closer! I've narrowed down on a foothill double as my first preference because of its proximity to the engineering and CS buildings.

For my second preference, I'm having a tough time deciding between a foothill triple and a double mini suite in unit 1.
The factors I'm taking into account are:

1) COMFORT: My guess is that a unit mini suite would be more comfortable than a triple in foothill. I've heard that triples everywhere(other than Clark Kerr) are very cramped. Is this true?
2) PROXIMITY: Foothill has an advantage here but is the advantage so significant that I should rule out the double mini suite option in unit 1(assuming it's more comfortable)?
3) BATHROOMS: I know that on an average 12-14 people share a single large common bathroom in foothill. I'm very sensitive to bathroom cleanliness so here are my questions-
a) Are the bathrooms well maintained?
b) Are there enough stalls or is there a waiting queue in the morning because of the rush to get to class?

I think that in terms of the bathroom situation, unit 1 mini suite would be a better choice as only 4-5 people share a common bathroom. Am I right?

Any advice, inputs and opinions would be greatly appreciated :)
