<p>just wondering what the dorm walls are like in unit 2 - is it that fabric-type material that I can already put thumb-tacks into or is it a normal wall material that I will have to put non-residue-leaving sticky things on?</p>
<p>also, if they're normal walls, what are the regulations/rules with leaving marks on the walls and stuff? thanks.</p>
<p>the walls in the old buildings (i.e. non mini suites) are pretty much completely bulletin board ish material. not like corkboard, but the gray stuff that you can use push pins etc on. so bring all the thumb tacks you want!</p>
<p>there is some "normal" wall in the room, like where the bookshelf is and the closet doors. if you want to put stuff up there (i did) try to use something that won't leave a mark or a hole. i think you might get charged at the end of the year if they find stuff like that in your room. but you can use blue painter's tape or something like that.</p>
<p>The mini-suites have some area of the walls covered in the fabric-type material.</p>
