Units for transferring

I know that I need 60 units in order to transfer to a UC from a CCC, however, when I apply, how many units do I need?

Thank you very much.

Doesn't matter how many units you have at application as long as you have 60 by the spring before you transfer.

So by the time spring ends before the summer, 60 units is required? What about if you plan on taking classes during the summer before fall transfer?

IGETC and Pre-Reqs must be fulfilled by the end of spring. Unit minimum must also be fulfilled by the end of spring.

And what if we apply for the winter session?

IGETC isn't always required; please check with the UC campus you are interested in applying to. For UC Davis IGETC courses may be completed during the summer term. However, all required courses and units must be completed. If applying for the winter term, all required courses and units must be completed by the end of the fall term.

I don't think there is a particular requirement that says you need so many units to apply, but you do need units to apply for tag, and other things.
