<p>They definitely don't require them as these two have mentioned. However, when deciding whether or not you would like to send one in, consider that they explicitly said they "do not want any recs" this year. </p>
<p>If you are on the fence and know for a fact you have a mind blowing rec waiting on your call, by all means. If that doesn't fit your situation, I definitely wouldn't send one</p>
