univ. of richmond-business vs. Rutgers NB business(honors)?? HELP

heyy i am a new jersey students that lives about 15 min from rutgers but im still dorming. I intend to major in business then go on to law school. I was confident that I wanted to go far away but now I can't make the decision. here is my list of pros and cons

Rutgers PROS
- cheappppper
- i know lots of people going and even some upperclassmen
- honors program
- im indian...lots of indians/diversity
- goood social life =]

CONS
- large classes
- lots of competition
- 56th in business
- too close to home?
- might be like high school all over again

RICHMOND PROS
- 12th in business
- greattt study abroad opportunities
-beautiful campus
- small school = small classes
- professors that care

CONS
- 45,000$$$$$$
- not very diverse...and i have grown up in NJ with lots of diversity
- i have heard people are snobby?

BASICALLY, i am completely conflicted. since the two schools are opposites...this is a VERY BIG decision. is it true that richmond will lead me to a better grad school and job? Socially, rutgers will be better although I think richmond will be better educationally. Does anyone have any insight?

Go with Rutgers. For the most part your undergrad school and major do not matter very much for law school, only your GPA and LSAT and to a much much lesser extent your soft factors. You will see people from unknown undergrad schools at top law schools. Law school will also leave you in huge debt, there’s no reason to take even more on now as undergrad when you can go for much cheaper. Even if you don’t intend to go into law, if you are going to be paying full price at Richmond I’d definitely take Rutgers if money is a concern for your family. The difference between the two isn’t big enough for an extra $80,000+ over four years.
