Universities that tend to offer scholarships to Int'l Students?

Hi i'm an international student and i'm planning on going to school in US, but' i'm worried about the cost of it.

So i'm asking if anyone knows any universities in the US that have the tendancy to provide generous scholarships to international students.

Thank you!!

That’s such a broad question-What are you looking for in a school? What do you want to major in?

Sorry abt that. I’m looking for any college in the northeast and I’m planning to major in Biology with a pre-med focus

Scholarships and financial aid opportunities have been discussed quite a bit. Try the forum search first. If this doesn’t help, tell us what information you have found and what you couldn’t find, and we will take it from there.

If you are female,Mount Holyoke is extremely generous with international students. If not, look at : Amherst,Williams,Bowdoin,Hamilton,Bates,BrandeisU,Vassar,Tufts University,Swarthmore,Gettysburg,Franklin and Marshall,Colgate University,St Lawrence University,Haverford,Colby. These are the schools I can think of off the top of my head.

Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Dartmouth… They are very generous to int’l! ^ ^

The most need - blind /aware colleges for international students:
MIT, Harvard, Yale, Amherst, Williams, Dartmouth and Middlebury…
Those are among the most competitive to get in though…
There are a lot of LACs and Universities that offer aid for foreign students… Grinnell (generous enough), Oberlin, Colby, Swarthmore, Davidson, College of Wooster, Franklin and Marshall, U of Richmond ect…
In either way it is gonna be difficult… in the first case, it is difficult to get in… in the second, even the admission rates aren’t that low… it is difficult to get aid…
****If you have high grades, high SATs and good EC’s you can make it…
Good Luck…
