<p>Scratch a 'Nole, you’ll usually find some orange and blue. Scratch a Gator and usually you will find some garnet and gold.</p>

<p>UF, UM, etc. (no real reason to list the other minor Florida universities since they’re not as hard to get into as these), UAlabama, Auburn (almost went here), LSU, and all the HBCs that had automatic scholarships (since I didn’t apply to any).</p>

<p>Daughter turned down University of Michigan honors program and Sarah Lawrence. She fell in love with FSU after visiting it (it wasn’t even on her list to apply - we decided to visit after attending the UM accepted students day on our way down to Disney).</p>
<p>I turned down UCF and USF.</p>
<p>Turned down UCF, UNF, FGCU, Peace ($14,000/year scholarship), Jacksonville University ($13,300/year scholarship). Up until about a week before the decision date I was sure I was going to UCF. I’m very glad I chose FSU though, I can’t wait to start in the Fall of 2011 :)</p>
