<p>Donot know much about US Univs as we plan to just move to the US (NY) by June for the first time. Would it be better for me to attend CUNY Hunter from home or take SUNY Univ at Buffalo as a resident student- have got offers from both?</p>
<p>It depends where you are most comfortable in Buffalo or NYC. Personally, I think the CUNY schools are underrated as they have some great faculty.</p>
<p>Am glad to hear that about CUNY. Have been hearing some bads from NYU alumni types about Hunter - that they have a lot of temporary teachers and huge class size, slow admin staff. How superior is Buffalo to CUNY in academics and academics alone? Will CUNY or its tag affect chances of getting a good GPA, a good postgrad or job?</p>
