University College

Never mind…I read it, and now I understand that its a separate application once you’re accepted.

try this site

It didn't invite me to it in any specific words...just put the link and above in text "university college"

It looks like something for people who were'nt in the cut off for Honors but are eligible for this University College program.

is university college for everyone, or do they just invite certain people to apply?

I think they just invite certain people. I got my acceptance packet today, and included in my acceptance letter was that information for the University College Program, of which I have been pre-selected is on its way.

If University College Program is also a type of invitation, do you think it's recommended to apply for it? :/ I didn't get into honors, but I did get a link to the University College application.

From the link above, it seems like the program has been in a two year test phase and is now being expanded.

Let's see what the invitation information looks like.

wait so if they invited you into this ur def not honors???

you said u got ur packet, when did they email you??

last year's info on University College boiled down to the following...being housed in a particular dorm, based on the University College seminar you were applying for. this means you don't choose a dorm from all the ones you've heard about, but based on the seminar, IF you do Univ. Coll, it is chosen for you. it also limits you to living with that smaller group of kids. my kid didn't like these aspects, but maybe some of you will.

I think if you got Honors, it says so in the opening line of your packet letter.
My packet came 2 days after the e-mail. I signed up for the admitted students portal to see if there might be more information. There wasn't.
No Honors
No mention of merit $
No way my parents are going to carry the whole cost of AU

ddomino88, I also signed up for the admitted students portal, making myself an e-mail address.

There's no mentioning of any money/financial aid on the Internet. I'm hoping that that will change soon. :(

Financial aid money should have been in your packet.
At least, it was for me.

But then, I had the money listed in my packet, but not online. I'm just assuming they don't have it up online yet.
