University -> Harvey Mudd. ???

OK, I'm applying to a few *UNIVERSITIES **using common apps. But I am also applying to Harvey Mudd, which is not a University.
In my essay when I say something like for ex.
"...want to be part of a *university
..."
Will that make a difference, because I'm applying to Harvey Mudd too. Does that make a difference?

Thanks.

Just change it when you send it to Harvey Mudd... That seems like the obvious way to avoid complications.

i'm applying through common apps. i upload the essay once on the common app website, which then sends the essay to all the univ's i'm applying to,

Please work on titling the threads better.

That being said, just change "university" to "school." Or just keep it as "university" because it seems like you're an international student and the meaning of "university" varies based on country anyway.

I seriously think it does not matter. WOW!

With common app, after you submit it to one or more schools, you can make an alternate form, and then you can go back and just change that one word... I changed stuff like that when I applied too.

yea honestly it shouldn't matter...
