University in South Korea?

I'm planning to study abroad as a full time student, at KU (Korea University; one of the SKY- second one- K)

Is it hard to get in if you're international student?

I still have time to bump my SAT score and my GPA, if possible.

So far i have like : 3.4 GPA (no AP, one honors- math) SAT: 1550 community service: 25 hrs
and a little more, like positions in clubs and stuff, but not much.

Also, if you were me, where would you go (i'm pretty fluent in both languages): UC Riverside (U.S.) or KU, and why.

Thanks for your opinions, and your thoughts about my admission.

so is the SAT score including writing or just CR and MATH? cuz if its all three its kinda low. I mean KU is very competitive and just because it may not have a lot of international students does not mean that they’ll jsut accept anyone. on the other hand if its just CR and math. its very very good. I dunno if you’ll get in though cuz your GPA seems kinda low. but who knows. Im not the admissions officer.
so are you korean or american?

oh sorry forgot to answer your major questions. um. being an international applicant should help you cuz every university wants more diversity and I don’t think that a lot of internationals would apply to KU. theyd go for american colleges. I’d go to KU because honestly I don’t know what riverside is. but also, if you are korean than as you might kinda already know, its really important into which college you go to. like ppl treat each other based on colleges. but then again. if you’re not gonna live in korea, it doesn’t matter much. then again. have you lived in korea before? then why not give it a try. cuz Id sorta like to live there cuz I never lived there but always went just for summer visits.

I don’t think you can get in, sorry. Most if not all colleges prefer their own nationals, and with your statistics Korea University is quite a super reach-6.05 percent.

Pick up the phone, and get in touch with the Education Officer at the Consulate of Korea that is closest to where you live. That person will be able to help you find answers to any questions you have about higher education in Korea, and will be able to put you in touch with someone who can answer your questions.
