<p>My mom's coming with me to Madison for two weeks before school starts to go around campus and explore the city. I was thinking of hotels near campus that's not so expensive. Doubletree and Campus Inn are rather expensive, so I was considering Best Western Inn On The Park (about $120 per night). University Inn's even cheaper (about $90 per night), but I get reviews like "Worst hotel ever" and stuff like that, so I was like "..." ...How is it?</p>

<p>I also read about staying at the Wisconsin Union Guestrooms, how about that? I think it's also about $90 per night.. But do they let you stay for two weeks? Didn't seem so on the website...</p>

<p>My understanding is that you are a foreign student (2 weeks is far too long for an American to spend in the college town). Try emailing the international students’ association with your ideas. It is very possible someone may be willing to host her. Start networking. You need to become familiar with the subsite on the UW site anyhow.</p>
