<p>I got into both schools and i am having alot of trouble decideing which one to attend.
my major is engineering
BU is not giving me any sort of aid but Miami is giving a trustee scholarship which is 11k a year. I really dont care about the scholarship im just looking for the perfect school…I am looking for a school which the social life is fun and exciting while the academic is very good.
Any suggestions?</p>

<p>Miami in Ohio? In that case not much weather differences. Boston is more sophisticated/urban/cool. There is NO PERFECT SCHOOL. Each will have pros and cons. Can you attend accepted students days at each to help you decide? Do you want to be in a city/college town like Boston? HOw far are each from your home and which college within BU? CAS?</p>

<p>swatman~ i think the atmospheres of the two schools are very different, so you need to have a sense of your own preferences. major weather differences, UM has a gorgeous campus, while BU is blended right in to the city, without a real campus feel. also, aren't there specific resources you can check out for engineering programs to compare the two? hmmm...sun,rain/snow; ocean,river.city,suburb. which is more you?</p>
<p>Miami is 11K a year cheaper. That's a big number for you or your parents. You should think whether you want to go to BU at 40K more.</p>
