<p>Im a US student looking for schools with decent engineering programs and UBC sounds interesting. I love Vancouver and I have family up there.</p>
<p>So would it make sense to go to UBC to pursue a career in civil/structural engineering?</p>
<p>UBC is ranked by US News World’s Best Universities as the 17th best engineering college in the world. If it indeed does have this level of prestige, it would definitely make sense to go to UBC for engineering.</p>
