I am sure I got it right this time....

but yep, mounties FTW

I need some help from you guys:

I passed the AP Calc AB exam in high school with a 3, which fulfills the IGETC requirement for quantative reasoning (basically the math requirement). However, I wanted to boost my units before my transfer, so I enrolled into a statistics class for this semester (winter). Right now, I'm thinking about dropping the class, which would earn me a "W" at this point. For reasons I can't share, I simply cannot fulfill the time requirement for the class, and am therefore earning an unpleasant grade.

So my question is: will dropping this class at this point raise some red flags? I figure that I can explain my situation on the "comment box" on the update site, which may earn me some sympathy.

Also, this is the first class I will be dropping. I have a GPA of 3.91+, and have had straight A's for 3 semesters straight. Last semester I took 20 units, and will be taking 21 units in the Spring. I will also be a TAP certified student. My main choices are Berkeley and UCLA.

yea that list was stupid...bc its basically a list of the largest CCs lol

bump!!! why are the uc decisions taking forever? The non selective UCs should just accept everyone with a 3.5 + and finish the decisions!!

Well UC schools are some of the most popular schools in the nation (UCLA being the most popular with over 50k applicants a year including the transfers), plus the freshman applicants are reviewed first... :(

yea, but everyone knows that a school like UCSB automatically accepts everyone with a 3.5 + lol (unless you are a bio major or the impacted ones)

Hhaha, not true. You can have a 4.0 with no english. I bet you, you won't get in.

Here's a quick question...

Was there a place on the UC application where you manually entered your GPA?... If there was, I didn't come across it. I'm trying to do an intercampus transfer.

Is GPA manually entered or automatically calculated using the grades you entered?

Automatically calculated.
