University of Colorado @ Boulder vs. Virginia Tech

Hi, everyone!

Last night I was happy to find out that I have been accepted to UC - Boulder. I still have yet to hear from Virginia Tech, but I've decided that these schools are my top two choices.

I was wondering if anyone could compare the caliber of academics at both of these schools and which degree might benefit more. I'll most likely end up with a business degree and then look to grad schools for my MBA. Any other ideas would be appreciated also!

Thanks!

Ward Churchill works at UC-boulder. He will call you evil for wanting to get an MBA.

I'd say go with Virginia Tech. I don't really know much about the school, besides what I've seen on this board and people make it seem like a good school.

I used to live in CO and everyone knows UC-Boulder as nothing but a party school. It might have changed since then, but that's all it was known for. Definately not known for 'top' academics.

Go to Boulder because thats where I'm going next year and I just found out theres way more guys than chicks there so maybe you'll help even it out

haha. one of the reasons i applied. ;-)

not really. but it's a plus.

Boulder is the most beautiful campus ever! And the people are so nice!!!! Colorado is just an awesome state and there are some good programs at Boulder!
