Hopefully more people can clarify! I’m not sure as well.
Mine has always said freshman!
My daughter’s definitely switched from ‘applicant’ to freshman at the same time her major disappeared
My son’s has always said “freshman” for applicant type and his major. Still waiting for his mid year grades to be posted
Can’t wait to hear all the new admissions in about an hour…
My blue hen page looks different every couple days I log as if it’s a whole different web page anyone know why ?
No update on portal. So we continue the waiting game…
@mellyp2000. Same here
Confetti!!! Acceptance tonight !
@Thewaiting4ever. Congratulations!!! What time did the portal update?
Thank you. It was after 8pm we checked around 1030 and saw it
FYI before the confetti we logged into the portal from the web site tab that says aaccepted students and when we logged in that way we saw the invitation to accepted students day. But when we logged in as we have been we just saw student type Freshman then sometime after 8 we got the confetti
I applied in early October and was deferred mid december. They received my mid year grades a couple days ago and I was wondering when I will hear my decision. If anyone can help me out thank you.
@CLS2000 How were you notified about your deferral? I received a letter stating they needed my mid year grades to make a final decision. I sent them in last week but have not heard.
Ours originally said applicant with a major then major disappeared and then it changed to freshman with major appearing again after acceptance.
@Thewaiting4ever Congratulations. Do you mind sharing your stats?
@lehigh2022 no problem. My daughters SAT 1260
GPA unweighted is 3.6. All honors and a few AP
Hi! I’m applying for college next year. I’m an in state student and my GPA is pretty low. I had barely a 3 my freshman and sophomore year and I had a suspension my sophomore year. I have legitimate reasons for both of these issues and I was going through an extremely difficult time during those years; my teachers can back me up on it. I did have all honors classes and 3 AP’s, and my senior year I’m planning on taking at least 4, if not 5. I’ve also taken dual enrollment and I’m taking classes at WilmU and DelTech. I scored a 1410 on the SAT, though, and I’m confident I can score better. I’m working extremely hard my junior and senior year, and I have pretty good extracurriculars. I want to apply to UD for Medical Diagnostics. My question is: How competitive is medical diagnostics, and do I even have a chance?
Well for one thing don’t tell them about the suspension. It’s not going to show up on your transcript.
@seashell123456 In my opinion, you have a good chance with that SAT score.
