I haven't seen a thread for College of Agricultural and Life Sciences applicants for 2014 so I figured I'd start one!
I recommend posting your stats and when you applied to help everyone else out. Of course ask any questions you have and I'm sure someone can help you out!

Transfer from Eastern Florida State College
Overall: Applied with a 3.53 (will be 3.65 in May when I get my AA)
Pre-prof:3.86
Nutritional Science (Pre-Dental) ... Although I want to switch to a Microbiology major with a minor in Nutrition if they allow it, since the majors have the same pre-reqs. Anyone know if transfer students can switch majors within the college?

Applied January 4th, transcripts sent on 1/31/2014. My app was sent to CALS for a final decision about a week later.
I sent 3 letters of recommendation and have a few extracurriculars, although I've been informed those probably won't be considered.

True, I haven’t seen any CALS threads around…

Actually, I just got admitted a few weeks ago! Here were my stats:

Transfer from Santa Fe College
Overall: Applied with a 3.77
Pre-prof:3.4
Pre-pharmacy - Biology (concentration on Biotechnology)
I sent my application in on Februrary 1st, and all my transcripts got sent in by March 11th.
I didn’t send in any letters of recommendation as I had spoken to someone from advising, and they told me that wasn’t necessary.

As for changing majors, I also asked about this and the guy from advisement told me that this it was possible, but not very common. You’d need a compelling reason to change majors but he told me that it could be done.
