University of Florida Fall 2015 Transfers

@BlackMetal‌
Yes, mine changed to sent to college about a month or so ago…
But afaik, the College of Engineering won’t start evaluating applications before the deadline (March 1st)… So it is still at least one month to go, but probably longer…

@soccerpro08‌
Congrats!!

My status changed about a momnth ago to being referred my the college for a final decision. Do they typically look at applications after the deafline or more on a rolling basis?

Nevermind, admissions got back to me.

Status just changed this morning to “referred to college for final decision”! I know I’m still going to be waiting another couple months, but it feels good being one step closer!

@BlackMetal‌ How long did it take to change to that?

@rlr711‌ About a month and a half :smile:

Accepted tonight to CLAS for teh botany major, watch your status & good luck folks!

@navydoc8406‌ congratulations!!!

UF finished receiving all of my information 2/2 and my application was sent to my college yesterday, 2/19! Hoping to hear back from them sometime soon. I applied as a Public Relations major.

@itsjillaine‌ good luck! I probably wont find out for another month or two, yet i still check 2-3 times a day. The wait is killing me!!

Got accepted today!
FSU
3.67 GPA
College of Journalism and Communications

I am just confused as to why it says the conditions to my acceptance is that I take AMH 2020. which I took last semester and is on my transcripts they got.

@heygaby‌ Congratulations!!!

Perhaps they made their decision before they even got your transcripts from last semester? It seems like it’s just a mistake, I’d give them a call and I’m sure they’ll sort it out. Worst case scenario, you just re-send your transcript to them again

Pennsylvania State University
GPA: 3.14
Mechanical Engineering

How long does it take engineers to hear back? They’ve had all my transcripts for 2 weeks now and I’m still on “calculating your gpa”

Based on past threads, I’m going to guess we’ll hear back in late-April or May :confused:
Also, it took me a month and half to change from “calculating your gpa” to “sent to college”
It might be faster now, though, since it’s getting closer to the deadline / review process.

I just went on ISIS and was able to view my “unofficial transcript”…I sent a transcript in before last semester ended, and then again after last semester ended…but it’s only showing classes from my first transcript (Up to last Summer)

My application status does show both as being received, yet ISIS only shows classes for the first one? :confused:
I e-mailed to ask about it…that would be very bad if admissions was making a decision based off of only my first transcript without last semester’s grades!!

@BlackMetal‌
My unofficial transcript button is locked… If I click it, it just tells me that there is no record and my last transcript was received by them in December…
I don’t think it says anything about what they have or not, otherwise I’d be worried too :smiley:

Are your transcripts from in-state or out-of-state?

@Test90‌ The lock only shows on mobile for me, and if I click on it I can still see my classes /:slight_smile: If you do it off of desktop, its just Transcripts > Current students > View Transcripts.

I just called UF and got transferred from admissions, to transfer admissions, to my applied college, to that college’s advising, and then to a different advisor #:-S They said they’d look into it and get back to me soon. The college could have both of mine, but I just wanted to be 100% just in case

Hmmm, for me it just says “Transcript (Unofficial). Personal Information. Record not found.” When I click on current students > view transcripts… But again I’m transferring in, so should there really be already a record?

@Test90‌ perhaps I’m just farther along in my admissions and more info has been processed? I wouldn’t sweat it

Houston Community College
Current GPA 3.55 @ 51 hours
Expected GPA: 3.6 @‌ 63 hours
Liberal Arts/Sciences- Psychology B.S.

Do ya’ll think I have a chance? I know psychology is competitive here and they recommend at least a 3.5 GPA but that makes me think that there’ll be plenty of 3.9s and 4.0s that will beat me out.

Also, 30 of my hours are from Belmont University (freshman yr) and I was in Honors there
