Just received notice of my acceptance into the Honors College. No notice of financial aid however, which is worrying…
Ds made it into honors, as well!
My son just got his acceptance yesterday. He applied around December and had not heard anything so he emailed a week ago and 1 week later was accepted. He should apply to honors soon.
My daughter got admission into Honors College and AES scholarship. But the admission does not say it is for Architecture major. Has anyone received architecture major admission?
Last night, at a NCAA game watching party, I heard that an alum’s kids did not get into UH but got into OU and Tech. Apply early and challenge the decision if you don’t get in at first. Especially if you’re at a highly competitive high school where it’s tough to rank in the top 10% or 25%.
Is anybody else disappointed by their financial aid package to UH? I have heard of the AES , but was offered only 5K in federal loans from UH this month, no AES in sight. 
Definitely disheartening.
Ds got AES, but the overall merit package was lower than we expected. I also felt there were a lot of hoops to jump through for UH compared to other schools.
