I have a gpa of 2.3. My SAT scores were a 1200 but I’m taking them again to see if I get a higher score. I play all varsity sports and am captain. What are my chances of getting in?
@sam127 What are the chances you could raise your GPA first semester? Would you be a recruited athlete?
Bumping up your SAT would be good. I’m sure you know the issue is your GPA. If you are looking at Orono, the worst case scenario is that you would have to go to a CC or other UMaine branch for a year and then transfer in.
Is that a weighted or unweighted gpa? Did you challenge yourself in the classroom?
