I am a transfer students, for both schools I did not get directly admitted into CS but I can apply internally again to the impacted major at that school once I am there. I am not certain that I want to be a CS major but know I defintly would like to combine it with Data Analytics / Statistics. UMD is ranked #16 in CS while Ohio State is #30 in CS. Both are similar pricing and not an issue.
Both are perfctly fine. You can safely choose based on cost, team mascot, or whatever you feel like.
