<p>I was recently granted spring semester admission to the University of Maryland- College Park. The school is my top choice (although I have applied and been accepted to others) and it is really the school I want to go to. I was just wondering if anyone has participated in Freshman Connection or if anyone has appealed the decision (since it really is just luck of the draw) because I'm definitely looking into both and just want more info</p>
<p>We have a neighbor who did that program last year. She went to our local CC and took credits that she checked to be sure they would transfer. She was not happy with the spring entry, but is very happy now at UMCP.</p>
