Hi! I am a senior in high school and I am beginning to get serious about which college I am going to enroll in. I am going for my undergraduate in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine intent. I want to double major, or major wih a minor wherever I go. I am down to two schools, University of Maryland and Virginia Tech. University of Maryland is close to DC and a few other major cities which may provide a little more networking for internships and job opportunities. But Virginia Tech has a Veterinary teaching hospital, a Vet school, and it’s in a more rural setting. Both schools have an amazing reputation and both are larger schools. Can anyone shed some insight into either University of Maryland or Virginia Tech’s Pre-Vet program? I am leaning towards Wildlife Vet Med. Thank You!!
