University of Miami class of 2022

Do you think it is a good sign that some were able to view financial awards for a little?

I don’t know. From what my cousin said it sounded like it was really just an accident but I could be wrong

When did people see financial stuff? I didn’t check my portal until after 5 last night so did I just miss when that was accidentally released or does that mean I didn’t get in?

@whiterosela it was already down by 5 EST

I’ve been asking a lot of people and from what I understand, I think if scholarships showed up you were accepted since those are issued directly by the school, but financial aid may not
mean you were accepted since it is issued by the federal government. I am not sure about this though, it’s just my guess.

I saw specific scholarship name and amount, as well as federal student loan info and work study info. and now I can’t link to it anymore

I’m on my portal and it says I have aid for 2019. I applied EA, does this mean anything?

@gavenb I saw that stuff too they probably realized that that info was released and blocked us from seeing it

I haven’t gotten anything yet

Has anyone heard about EA?

^ EA isn’t coming out til late January

If I didn’t apply for financial aid and I saw no scholarship stuff posted do you guys think it means I was deferred? I applied ED

i sure hope not

you may have just not received any scholarships. nothing is for sure until official admissions decisions are released which I hope is soon!!

friends!! When is it coming out?!

hopefully tomorrow

Pray for tomorrow!!! Good luck everyone

Just found out that I had to complete the CSS profile. Just submitted it but I did complete the FAFSA on time. On my to-do list it said my application was complete. Will turning the CSS profile in late hurt my admissions chances for ED?

The CSS has nothing to do with admissions. It may hurt your chances of getting grants directly from UM.

@senya2018 THANK YOU SO MUCH! I had a mini heart attack for a second there
