<p>So ive done some research and the early decision acceptance rate is much lower than early action or even regular decision acceptance rate, is their a reason for that ?? I figured it would be the other way around O.o would early decision be smart if the acceptance rate is lower ?</p>
<p>ED is lower because lots of unqualified applicants think it can get them in. If you’re around average, it does give you a better chance. It just won’t make up for a 3.0 GPA or 1100/1600 SAT…which many people apply ED with to see if they can get in.</p>
