<p>I was accepted into the University of Miami EA and was nominated for the Hammond Scholarship. Straight As for four years in the IB program and 1990 on SAT. Is there a reason why I was offered a Hammond scholarship but received no other merit scholarships?</p>
<p>You should be pleased, full minority tuition scholarship. My D received $34K from UM, 2100 ACT, one B in HS with IB Diploma GPA 3.9875 , 3/344. Problem is as parents we cannot afford the $22K additional expenses.</p>
