Does early application improve your chances of getting accepted at all?
@krinis applying early only demonstrates your interest more in the university but as Michigan states on their website, they don’t look at you application more leniently it’s also a chance to get your decision sooner as well
@krinis Applying EA demonstrates interest and it also guarantees that you receive your decision (be it accept, deny, or deferred) by a specific date, since after Feb 1 deadline decisions are rolling. If youre gonna apply for business it is highly recommended that you apply EA
Does UMich consider superscored SAT and ACT? I’ve been hearing different things from reliable sources.
U-M will not superscore, but will consider all subscores without recalculating a new composite.
“…we are able to consider all of an applicant’s individual subscores from all of the applicant’s test results sent to our office. We will use test results to make an applicant as competitive as possible. The Admissions Counselor can identify a perfect math sub-score during the evaluation process, even if this score was earned on a test date that did not contain the highest composite test score. A student will never be penalized for submitting lower scores.”
