University of Michigan Ann Arbor Class of 2022 Early Action

I applied to Umich, Florida, Washington, CU boulder, Illinois, Indiana, Cal Poly, SMU, TCU, UT austin, and Baylor. Got into Illinois, Indiana, SMU, TCU, UT, and Baylor. Haven’t heard back from the others.

I’ve gotten into IU, Wisconsin and Loyola and I’ve applied to like 8 others and haven’t heard back yet. I am in a constant state of stress lol

Here we go! Good luck everyone!

@exlibris, of the twenty, eight of them are California UC’s all of which have the exact same application and essays. Four are Cal State “safeties”. The other eight are a combination of US News top thirty schools, including UPenn and Yale which are the only two Ivy colleges I have targeted. I have not submitted the UPenn or Yale just yet. I’m still finalizing the essays. And Amherst.

There’s no question that there will be rejections.

Yay

we hit 1000, I’m proud of us

Umich is my top choice so I’m waiting for umich decision and if I don’t get in I will apply RD

My D applied to Georgia Tech…anxiously awaiting EA decision on 1/13 at noon!

Hey everyone I know this process has taken a toll on all of us, but if decisions really are coming out in 15 minutes I want to wish everyone the best of luck!

@elzbth It’s a public school, so its new policies must have been discussed and approved in the public sphere.

The UC’s just approved an enrollment cap on OOS and the new policy was published by major news organizations and UC itself. Where’s the factual proof of the new policy at UM?

Is it true that a girl applying for engineering has a slight leverage?

I’ve only applied to UPenn (ED) and Michigan (EA) so far. Got deferred from Penn so I’m really hoping for good news from Michigan… Good luck everyone. I have got a slew of apps for RD depending on what happens with UM so pray for me.

Twas the minutes before umich

not a person was clam
not an email unrefreshed

@dannyphantom1 definitely

@RGEJam I’m basically in the same spot as you. NOT looking forward to at least 5 apps due in the next two weeks! Here’s to us both getting into UMich in the next 10 minutes and Penn in March!!!
