I am not sure if I forgot anything, but whatever input I can receive would be greatly appreciated. I also do know that I am below 50% mark for CoE so do not hold back. I have already been accepted to Penn State Engineering (rather quickly 1 week after sending everything in) and also Purdue Engineering. I also know that applying OOS to U of M is extremely tedious compared to in state.

@cool12345214 It looks like you have a great chance. Did you apply to Penn State regular decision. I am applying there soon and if I do, will I receive my decision as soon as you did? I am also applying to Purdue. Did you apply RD there too?

Good luck! What is your ACT math sub-score and SAT II if you took them? That will probably make the greatest impact. You are definitely in the grey zone. I expect you will be deferred and then admitted if you write a letter to admissions promising to come.

@TooOld4School I took my SAT II’s on bad weekends and did not get over 700 on Math SAT II or Chem so I did not feel the need to submit… i think 680 Math SAT II and 670 or 660 Chem… but 34 or 33 Math on Act and 33 or 34 Sci i cant remember but should have gotten higher i have a tendency to not test well in any subject because i just speed through
@JustaEngineer Yeah I applied RD to Penn State and got in a week later and I applied RD to Purdue and that took a little over a month

@TooOld4School I pretty much said in subtle ways in my EA essays that I would go if I was offered admission I/m not sure if that helps just as much as a letter after deferral
