University Of Michigan Chances

I am applying to several other schools, but I would feel better if I knew what my chances are for UofM because I would be satisfied going there.
* I applied to engineering specifically

3.7 gpa, 32 ACT, boys state nominee and participant, stable job for 2 years, great letters of rec, solid essays, tack and field, cross country, swimming, model UN, NHS, I wrote an essay about building a 3d printer (something rather unique about myself), swing dance club, volunteering, Catalina club
- I am captain of Catalina club, most likely will be for track, and am event coordinator for model UN.

I also won 1st place in an international engineering competition, along with numerous awards from my school.

this looks like a lot of stuff, but I'm not spread thin at all on them. The least involved one is still 4 hours per week of involvement.

And if classes matter, I'm taking AP BC Calc, AP physics, Ap chem, and AP lit. Last year I took AP psych and Ap gov. I have also taken too many honors courses to figure out right now.

Thanks for any help!

sollllliiiiiiiiiidddd.

BUT Getting money would be hard. and thats a problem when its 55k

I’m in state so won’t be quite as bad. And thanks for the input!

UMich: match/high match

Even with my gpa? Umich engineering is actually pretty competitive

U Mich: Match

Chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1574625-chances-brown-wash-u-st-louis-will-chance-back.html#post16553665

It is a high match as in state for you. Your GPA is a bit below the admission average of 3.9 and below 25%. Your ACT is around average. How are the break down scores?
Your EC may help.

32 math, 30 science, 34 reading, 33 english.

 • If it makes a difference I specifically applied for engineering with an emphasis on entrepreneurship.

Also an 800 on sat math II, but I believe it is too late to submit.

Your SAT2 score may help as your ACT match is only 32. Don’t worry if it may be too late as your application is completed. Anything arrived before the decision may still affect the outcome.

Cool thanks. Anybody else?
