@“SpecialK” the decision tab is not the same as the application tab. Upon clicking “Application Status” under Admission on the portal, you should be taken to a page that contain links to view application data, view credentials, and view decision. The link to view decision is the decision tab that everyone is referring to.
@coffeeconverter Thanks!!
are the “view decision” tabs done disappearing for the night or do we think more will?
@letsgoblue1234 - you beat me to it - was going to recommend that you check the status on parchment. Betcha dollars-to-doughnuts they have it. They just haven’t posted that they have it.
@letsgoblue1234 - in any case you know that your counselor has sent it, right?
hope they are still updating the decision tab until midnight…
@JBStillFlying Yes, I am hoping. I checked Common App and it also said that she started the Optional Report when she did the other required materials but never finished the optional one. Is that bad?
Wait so it’s a lot to read all of this at once. Just to clarify, there is something going on with the decision tabs, but no wave of decisions will be released tonight?
I’m an EA deferred applicant and my decision tab DID DISAPPEAR. ???
@letsgoblue1234 at #610 - no clue. Pretty sure no one completed an optional report for my kid. You can check a PDF of the report to see what it asks. It might be for special cases.
@JBStillFlying Great, thank you for your help.
We thinking 12 AM EST? My decision tab is gone.
To answer a few questions.
Disappearing decision tabs are for EA/deferred students not RD applicants.
Disappearing decision tabs have in the past been highly correlated with acceptances.
Disappearing decision tabs can disappear for over a week+ or just a few hours before a wave of decisions are released.
Students have been accepted without getting the disappearing decision tab. It’s not a perfect predictor.
Some Ross applicants have already been accepted today. There’s a separate thread for Ross applicants.
Check your portal after midnight tonight, you may receive an acceptance.
Early waves of decisions in February and March contain few, if any, waitlisted or rejected applicants.
I think that answers most of the recent questions.
Do accepted students get an email as well or do they need to check their online account?
LSA I’m in!
I got in!!!
Get ready… The ride is starting. Good luck to everyone.
any RD applicants that got in
if you get in, please say if u sent your 1st semester grades, and if your decision tab disappeared
My EA/deferred OOS son to COE just had his “view decision” show up with his acceptance!
