I am regretting that not visiting the UMich officialy. I had visited my aunt who lives 15 minutes away from the umich so many times in last 4 years. Now feeling bad that the decision might be looking at “demonstrated interest”. Ohh well, I will know tomorrow.
@Acortez122 It was emailed to you after you submitted your application. It may have gone to your spam folder, if you cannot find it there, call Umich admissions during business hours tomorrow and they will be able to help.
Chances of two students from same OOS smallish (122 in senior class) both getting in. Similar test scores, extracurricular.
i don’t see why your chances would be any different from one another unless one of your hooks was vastly superior to the other, y’know? Besides, why sweat it now? we’re about to get results. too late to change anything, let’s just keep our fingers crossed! :^)
Does anyone know if the email we get tomorrow, if decisions come out, will have our decision in it or just something saying that our portal has been updated.

Any chance decisions went up on WA at midnight Eastern time? My son just told me someone posted in the current Michigan student FB group that their sister got in. No idea if it’s legit.
i keep hearing rumors that people have gotten in but no one I know personally… very suspicious @UMParent2015
Think logically… If people got in the FB groups would be flooded with people getting accepted /deferred… Not just one person stating his sister got it… Right?
I can see this rumor about somebody getting in happening so much when everybody who gets deferred will have to wait for their decision on a rolling schedule. That will be the most painful wait.

It was literally at midnight and so I wasn’t sure if it was the first of many. Besides, not sure the current student fb group usually posts about those kind of things. It’s mostly used to announce available rentals and game tickets for sale. The students don’t really use fb to announce much anymore.
