When are Ross decisions out?
The first batch of Ross decisions will likely be out early February.
where is this information about the date of the decision coming from?
@SingingBusDriver thank you for the years of information.
Grassmower parents… Lol… Never heard that before… Helicopter parents yes…
Also to the kids… If you use a bus and your driver is female and humming or singing… Say Thank you.
/who would send an email with that information^?
@SingingBusDriver Can you clarify your message about ross decisions at all?
This is information that I do not know for sure. Sounds like Ross is ready to go with their EA admissions that could come out as early as today. Again, do not have confirmation that it is 100% going to happen.
@SingingBusDriver I thought that Ross has nothing to do with admissions until EA comes out? Since they don’t review until a student is accepted to LSA?
“lawnmower parents.” These parents don’t just hover; they step out in front of their kids and clear a path, smoothing over any rough patches before their children even encounter them (they’re also called “curling parents” who, like a sweeper in the sport curling, groom an area in anticipation of their child’s arrival).

They recently changed how Ross students are admitted. You can be admitted directly to Ross now. Or you can do the traditional Ross pre-admit route where you first attend LSA and then transfer into Ross.
Thank you very much @SingingBusDriver . Is this decision date delay a insider information? Because I receive nothing from Michigan. If so, then thank you sooooooooo much! (although not that joyful since I have to suffer a few more days)
you will get something from the University of Michigan. The subject line will probably be something along the lines of “your University of Michigan decision” or “your University of Michigan decision is ready”
Not an AO. Making that clear. Also don’t have control over how Admission works. I just receive information down the grapevine.
So yes, sometimes I am wrong. Sometimes things change. But I am sharing information as I hear them.
Ross already knows who got accepted, so they have been working on preferred admission applicants who got accepted. It’s only the applicant who doesn’t know yet. Correct @SingingBusDriver ?
@SingingBusDriver Is there any chance LSA/CoE will get their decisions later today as well?
@Umich2023 Not sure about CoE. But LSA will not be coming out today.
@agrace14 I just sent you a PM
So does that mean if I applied LSA and Ross preferred, my decision could come out today?
Wait so If I applied to LSA, but I want to transfer into Ross after my freshmen year at LSA. Can I do that? I thought students could not transfer like that.
I am just nervous that Michigan didn’t send us any email regarding the decision date and how. If I am alone I would never know. Thanks to everyone here.
