For those of you with crazy great stats who are deferred, keep in mind that (apparently) they defer applicants who are most likely to have also applied ED to an Ivy or other competitive school. That might be what the case is for you. Send a letter of continued interest if you still want to attend UM.

this is extremely true, a kid last year who went to my school went to Yale, but was deferred at michigan
Does anyone knows if UM deferred means a No or will they seriously look at your file again in the regular pool.
