@letsgoblue1234 Nothing new available. All I know is that for the Class of 2022 there were “almost 40,000” EA apps. And for the Class of 2023, there were “over 40,000” apps. Not much to chew on otherwise.
Hey everyone! I’m a freshman at UMich and I was in your place a year ago. Selecting which college you go to is a process and I really wanted to see how life at UMich was as a senior in high school. So I made a video showing a day in the life here! Hopefully it can give you all an idea of what college life is like here!

Question: Is there a way to read the “tealeaves” on changes in the student center around decision time so that you get an early hint of what the decision will be? Apparently if you are deferred EA, the “Decision tab” disappears. RD applications don’t have a “Decision Tab” at this point so wondering what signs those applicants should look for.
We still have the decision tab.
@calspeed - yes - apparently it changes for a bit on decision day if you got in. Best to head over to the deferred EA thread which will explain in better detail, since posters from previous years are describing what happens. But again, apparently this is just for EA-deferred not new RD.
do you have the link?
@apr2000
That was nice - thanks for sharing!
@calspeed check out the final page or two:

Any thoughts on a delay due to severe weather? U-M seems to be open with no announcement of closure unless I’ve missed an important communique somewhere.
Hey, so if I applied on 1/14/19 and they received my credentials by 1/16/19, is there any chance I’ll hear back from them tomorrow?
Is it pretty guaranteed that if you applied before 1/8 that you’ll hear back tomorrow? Or do they give out decisions kinda randomly no matter when you applied
Given that admissions is closed until tomorrow, you wouldn’t be guaranteed to hear anything back regardless of when you applied and even IF they had been planning to release tomorrow before this severe cold snap hit.
4.0 GPA (4.4 weighted) and 1540 SAT here. I have all my supplements ready to go but funds are a bit tight right now. I know that the deadline is tonight, is it even worth applying at this point?
when is the admission decision for lsa applicants? is it just the end of march like most other schools
My DS received his RD acceptance to the engineering program this morning! His application was submitted early January so we’re shocked it already came out!
.
@Cody333 congrats to him! Good to know they are starting to let in the RD’s at this point . . .
accepted this morning after deferral in the EA round!!! fyi I got the good deferral letter & sent in a LOCI
no email but I just checked the portal and saw!
OOS to LSA, waiting on decision to Ross
1560 SAT, 4.4 gpa, 3.98 uw gpa
Go Blue???
Accepted into the LSA!! Did anyone else apply to the RC? When does that decision come out or does it mean that I didn’t get into the RC if my decision only mentioned the LSA? Thanks!
