Approximately how long after you guys sent your grades did the decision tab disappear for those that no longer have it? They just downloaded my grades today
@EthanAz1 I’m not sure when the view decision tab disappeared. I just happened to check yesterday when I saw that UMhopeful12 noticed theirs was gone. My updated grades/transcript was entered on 1/26.
@bulldoglover Based on responses in previous years to the deferred EA thread on CC, it looks like the first batch of offers will go out this Thursday or next Thursday at midnight.
Previous first release dates:
Thurs 2/9/12
Thurs 1/30/14
Thurs 2/5/15
Thurs 2/4/16
Wed 2/8/17
Only two people have reported their decision links disappearing, and @UMhopeful12 posted about it over a week ago. In years past, the decision links didn’t disappear weeks before decisions, but rather, the day that decisions would be released. I’m a little wary of only two people having their decision links disappear, especially since decisions are released midnight on Thursdays. I don’t mean to offend the two of you who don’t have decision links, but something isn’t adding up.
@questions124 No offense taken. Like I said, it may mean nothing at all and I didn’t mean to alarm anyone in case their view decision tab hadn’t been removed. It’s only an observation and we won’t know until a new round of decisions are released if it really meant anything.
@EthanAz1 decision tab disappeared the day grades were updated.
Wonder if the select few who have had decision tabs removed were just part of a group who couldn’t be considered under the time restraints of the EA deadline?
CC is but a small fraction of those who applied.
Thoughts?
@NCstudent2022 I would not include the 2014 in the historic record. The CommonApp was revised in 2013 leading to submission problems. The deadline for many EA and ED schools were postponed for a couple weeks including UMich. As a result, UMich could not finished reviewing all EA applications before 12/24. The January admissions were mostly due to the delayed EA admission. The first 2 weeks of February is the norm.
Did your “View Decision” tab come back?
@Blizzard1 Mine is still gone. Do you have the view decision tab?
My student’s view decision tab never disappeared from the application page. I was just curious.
@Blizzard1 Have your mid year grades/transcript been entered? It may be that the view decision tab goes away once these have been entered.
Yes - they were entered this weekend.
So I was checking my D’s Wolverine access portal with her and we were wondering where we would see if her 1st semester grades were requested or submitted. From reading the other threads she got the “good” deferral letter which didn’t explicitly state she needed to send them, but she is anyways. Under the view credentials tab it doesn’t say anything about those grades. Can someone who’s successfully uploaded theirs explain? How could you tell if they were required or not? Thanks!
There was no spot on our credentials page either. The “transcript received” date changed when the midyear grades were received.
“Strong recent grades that are available before mid-February 2018 may improve your status in the deferred pool of applicants. Therefore, please ask your high school counselor to forward them when they become available.” Is that the “bad” letter?
@jrmNY2018 There is no good or bad letter. They have that info posted on their website for all deferred applicants.
How do you enter grades from first semester?.. Does my school counselor have to do it?
My 1st semester grades were received January 13, yet decision tab and letter are still there if that helps
My first trimester grades were received on Jan 13th as well! The decision tab was still there. I applied to CoE. Is it possible they release the decision by states?
