In the url of the blue page(portal) replace the word ‘redirect’ with ‘checklist’

He’s talking about the URL, once you get the blue page on your portal with the message, go to the URL and replace “redirect” with “checklist” it leads to a blank page. As we said before it doesn’t work

You could also replace the ‘redirect’ in the blue page(portal) URL with ‘appdata’ to see application details

my son did…but with his gpa I don’t think he’ll get in, so just praying for a deferral and not a flat out rejection

In case you get deferred, do not worry. Umich mom here and I can tell you many get deferred but ultimately are accepted in regular decision. Good luck and GO BLUE!!
