I can access it now

what does it say for you guys under “View Financial Aid Document Status”?

Aid Year Institution Description
2016 University of Michigan No financial aid data available.

I submitted a CSS profile already because I thought you need to for Early Action (ex: Harvard). Previously in the thread, it was stated that you don’t need to submit aid documents until March

@hrock500 why? Did something change?

I did not apply for financial aid

isn’t there a hotline/number you can call that has a certain voicemail that’ll basically hint at admissions? i read that people called it last year for the class of 2018

Me too … didnt apply for financial aid

@classof15 what do you mean by hotline? Could you explain more about it??

Who applied to Ross?

Phone: 734-764-7433
Fax: 734-936-0740

Call Center Service Hours
M – F: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. EST
(Live chat ends at 6:30 p.m.)

Is this what you were talking about @classof15 ?

I do not think that they would simply let you know what your decision is if you call them

Yes, but they don’t tell you your decision. Sometimes the voicemail changes which indicates they are closed or something. Read last years forum, lol all this info is from there!

@classof15 I do not understand still… So do I need to call them?

Decisions will come either this friday or the 24th. Its final.

@Prodigee did Michigan officially say that?

@joker258 Yes, they said by december 24th, i think all of you should calm down and just patiently wait. There is just a very small chance of it being earlier than friday, based on past years.

Yea just be patient. There’s is no reason to believe that decisions are going to be released earlier than Friday, seeing that they received more applications than last year. And last year decisions came out December 20th I believe.

It’s not gonna be anytime before friday I can tell you that for sure. Finals week is still going on.

@lialex14 how do you know they received more applicants this year

@xcfreedom56, I don’t have the actual numbers but here is a link that has led me to believe there are going to be more applicants this year.
<a href=“University undergraduate enrollment increases slightly”>http://www.michigandaily.com/news/university-enrollment-increases-slightly
“Michigan has always had this allure for applicants and I think it’s evidenced by the increasing number of applications,” she said (University of Michigan’s appointed Kedra Ishop as associate vice president for enrollment management).

“For the eighth consecutive year, the University received a record number of applicants. The University accepted 15,985 students — approximately 32 percent of the students who applied — down rate about 1 percent from last year.”

Point is, even if they get the same number of applications, getting our decisions earlier than last year is probably not going to happen.
