Probably not. If your financial aid documents are complete, check “award summary”. Sometimes financial aid posts an award before the admissions decision has come through. That is how I first learned I got in.

Has anyone received their transfer credit report? I don’t wanna commit until after I know how many of my credits they are gonna accept.
Is it supposed to come in the mail, or is it an online thing?
My son received his transfer credit report and most of the credits transfer. The only issue is that my son took 8 credits of Computer Science courses if which only 2 credits are being accepted although they were intensive courses in Java. I would have thought that the courses would have at least replaced the EECS 183 requirement for CS-LSA being that EECS 183 is an introductory course in the fundamentals of programming, only in a slightly different (but similar) language (C++).

Called today, was told CoE applicants will hear back by mid may… why are they toying with us?

I asked the same thing. They said there is an extension if you get your decision after May 1st.
The deposit is due the earlier of May 1st if you have a decision before May 1st or the day they specify in your admission letter if you were admitted after May 1st.
Look through the transfer thread from last year. You’ll see that engineering applicants didn’t receive their decisions until May. As for me, I’m still waiting to hear back from the School of Information even though I was told it would be the “first or second week of April.” Oh well.
If I haven’t gotten any decision from CoE at this moment, does that mean I am likely to be rejected?
damn, my UIUC enrollment deposit is due on May 1 and registration for courses start at the end of April. I can’t wait until mid may or else all the good lectures will be filled at UIUC :’( I am so lost right now

Just heard back, rejected from Material sci & eng because of incomplete prerequisites and then the emails says ‘we encourage you to consider reapplying once you are closer to completing all of the necessary prerequisites’ Is this how they reject people in a nicer way lol
